Agentless MFA and Privileged Access for Active Directory

Agentless for Active Directory

We’re announcing the launch of Agentless MFA and Privileged Access for Active Directory

Agentless MFA and Privileged Access for Active Directory (AD) implements Privileged Access and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) without requiring agents or additional software to be installed endpoints. Instead, it leverages existing authentication protocols and integrations to provide MFA capabilities.

Features

No Agents Required:

As the name implies, there is no need to install agents on endpoints. This reduces the complexity of deployment and lowers the risk of interfering with Active Directory’s core functionality.

Centralized Management:

These solutions often come with a centralized management console to manage policies, view logs, and monitor user activity.

Multi-Protocol Support:

These solutions often support common authentication protocols such as RADIUS, Kerberos, and LDAP to integrate seamlessly with a wide range of enterprise infrastructure.

Real-Time Risk-Based Authentication:

The platform continuously monitors all authentication requests and uses a risk engine to assess suspicious behavior, applying adaptive MFA when necessary. This real-time analysis helps prevent lateral movement within the network by attackers. This works in conjunction with our conditional access system

Broad coverage:

AuthNull extends MFA protection to resources and applications that typically don’t support MFA, such as legacy systems, file shares, and command-line access to workstations and servers. This supports on-prem infrastructure. Coverage for cloud infrastructure is coming soon.

Protecting interactive and service accounts:

AuthNull provides protection to interactive and non interactive (service accounts) with MFA and privileged access. AuthNull offers visibility and protection for service accounts. It monitors these accounts’ behavior and can trigger MFA, use M2M authentication or block access when abnormal activity is detected.
